Model Kate Upton is on the cover for the third time.

Kate - who saw her image on the magazine projected onto the Empire State Building in New York City on Tuesday (14.02.17) - is delighted that model-and-actress Christie is back in the mag looking absolutely incredible in her seventh decade.

"They're very hard to read", she said with a laugh.

At this point I could just write "purple monkey dishwasher", because let's face it...most of you probably just watched the video. "They finally gave me a call yesterday". In a video, she describes her shoot as "high-end Vogue vibes", and adds, "Getting on the cover of Sports Illustrated has completely changed my life".

In 2015, Wozniacki's first time working with the magazine, she showed off an array of white bathing suits that must have impressed the Sports Illustrated staff because she has become a regular.

"To have an issue that focuses on that is really an wonderful moment for me because I think it's important for everyone to be the best they can be", she told Sports Illustrated.

Even though photos from the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition have been circulating on social media for more than a week, the cover reveal is always a big deal and reserved for the day before the magazine is released.

Sources tell us that an appearance by Upton - whose Rookie of the Year pictures in the mag in 2011 helped make her a star - is still up in the air because of her diva demands.

The Danish beauty is hailed as one of the world's most striking models and she doesn't disappoint, hitting the beach with some carefully placed metallic pasties and nothing else! In fact, the tagline for this year's issue is: "Every body, Every age, Every handsome". She works out five to six days a week for at least an hour each time.

"The thong is ideal, it really made me feel comfortable".

In addition to Upton, Christie Brinkley, 63, appears with her daughters.

"Wow, I feel so honored and excited to be back with Sports Illustrated!".

Other notables in this year's edition include former cover girl Chrissy Teigen, tennis champ Serena Williams and Olympic gold medal gymnast Simone Biles.
