Adele calls Australia a 'second home'

Adele's Australian debut in Perth last night saw the United Kingdom superstar play her first ever stadium show, equipped with a brand new 360-degree stage, a stack of confetti galore and an awesome visual production, but the singer revealed more was planned until an incident during soundcheck.

In Adele's first visit to Australia she is performing stadium concerts in a 360-degree production created to make the huge show feel intimate.

"Some guy from the crew grabbed my hand and lead me onto the stage", she said.

Singing the 21 singer's hit single "Rumour Has It", DJ Feminem - who impersonates Adele for a living - stunned the singer with her impressive vocal range and later posed for a selfie with the star.

It seems the down-to-earth singer and songwriter does not realise the effect she has on her adoring fans and appeared genuinely overwhelmed by the loud cheers throughout the show.

She told the crowd: "The weight is going to fall off of me on this tour. The sweat is dripping down my thighs". Complaining about the invasion of privacy, the Someone Like You singer told the crowd: "We've been rehearsing here. and my son was watching in the crowd". People took selfies and just wanted to say "hello" to her.

"I kind of caught her eye in the first 15 minutes of the show and she gave me a bit of a wink and a wave and I was just having fun", Feminem told Australian radio station 6PR after the show. "And security did the rest".

Adele recently performed at this year's Grammy Awards, picking up five awards before arguing how Beyonce probably deserved one of them.
