The final version in expected to be released in the autumn but an updated version of the preview will be available to other users soon.

Android "Nougat" is just barely starting to register on official radars (3% platform share) when the new latest version is already being lined up, in the form of a first developer preview.

Our guide to the best Android O new features shows you how to get started with Google's big 2017 Android update.

A few days back Google announced that its Google Assistant, the AI based feature would be available for all Android devices. In addition the Android O have all new customizable interactive notification.

To uninstall Android O following your trials you will need to download and flash to your device a factory image of Android Nougat. This means users can block or change the behavior of each channel individually, rather than managing all of the app's notifications together.

Google plans to release more developer preview updates over the next several months, Dave Burke, vice president of engineering, said in a blog post yesterday.

One of the changes arriving with Android O will be new background execution and location limits that will make it easier for developers to create apps that don't overtax user devices and batteries.

Well, among the plethora of new features that tag along with this new version of Android, we found this one to be pretty impressive.

Earlier today, Google also released its third annual Android Security Year in Review report, noting that Android Nougat introduced many new security features created to stop unsafe apps. The notifications can now be snoozed by pulling down the notification and slowly swiping to the left or right.

Google is continuing its work to make the mobile operating system as power-efficient as possible by introducing a new tweak that will further conserve a smartphone's battery life.

Also coming is a picture-in-picture mode for video apps, audio enhancements, multi-display support, improved keyboard navigation and adaptive icons for users running Android apps on Chrome OS. We still have a long way to go before Android O comes out in its full form, so more features can be expected to jump to the board in the due course.
