Mild, Dry Days Tuesday and Wednesday

Melba UnderwoodMar 29, 2017

Thursday will be sunny and seasonable with temperature in the 40s. Folks down towards the south will see lows in the mid 20s. By dawn, skies will be in the process of clearing, so a few spots may briefly fall into the lower 30s. Expect a breeze in the morning from the north to increase and get a bit gusty in the afternoon. IF any snow accumulates, the most likely locations would be grassy areas and elevated surfaces (decks, mailboxes, cars, etc.), and any accumulation should be well under an inch before the eventual changeover to rain.

While skies could be a little cloudy, we're generally calling for partly to mostly cloudy skies Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the upper 50s.

Rain is likely Thursday night, with lows near 40 degrees (4 to 5 degrees Celsius).

More showers are expected into this evening with things wrapping up during the overnight hours.

The National Weather Service said temperatures will be below normal for this time of year, with highs in the 40s in most parts of the state. And with dry conditions Friday highs remain in the 50s.

Another round of scattered showers arrives over the weekend with highs in the 50s.

Partly cloudy also on Monday, with highs in the upper 50s (15 degrees Celsius). Precipitation wraps up on Saturday, with any snow/sleet mix changing over to rain as the storm pulls away from New England.
