Dolphins' offseason workouts begin April 17; mandatory minicamp set for June

The NFL on Monday announced the schedule for each team's offseason workout program, and the Philadelphia Eagles will begin theirs in two weeks.

Here are the key dates for the Seahawks.

Live contact during OTAs and minicamp remains prohibited, but the Saints are allowed to conduct 7-on-7, 9-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills during the periods. That punishment included the forfeiture of the Seahawks' first week of 2017 OTAs - which amounted to three OTA days - along with a fifth-round pick and fines totaling $600,000.

The Saints are scheduled to conduct OTAs on May 23-25, May 30-31, June 1 and June 5-8.

A mandatory three-day minicamp from June 13-15 will close out this year's offseason program.

Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program.

Phase 1 of the workout program consists only of "strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation", according to the CBA, and that runs for two weeks.

Phase two: The following three weeks may include on-field workouts, individual player instruction and drills.

Voluntary offseason workout programs are meant to provide training, teaching and physical conditioning for players. Dates for rookie minicamps will be set later. There is no live contact during these practices. Then the following week comes the NFL Draft, which begins with the first round on Thursday, April 27, then continues with the second and third rounds on Friday, April 28, and concludes with rounds four through seven on Saturday, April 29.
