Several days of rain likely for the Harrisburg area

The clouds look like they're sticking around for a few more days.

One more day of showers is forecast for Sacramento before almost a week of sunshine, according to the National Weather Service.

A 20 percent chance of light rain before 11 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 56. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

A chance of showers continues overnight Thursday and during the day Friday. It will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Southwest wind 10 to 15 miles per hour decreasing to 5 to 10 miles per hour after midnight.

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers.

Saturday Night: Occasional showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog before 11 a.m.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 48. Southeast wind around 7 miles per hour.

Wednesday - Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Cloudy with a high near 72.

On Friday, there is a chance of rain showers, mainly before 2 p.m. Southwest wind around 5 miles per hour.

The storms are expected to develop across Iowa late Wednesday afternoon and evening, then track northeast into Wisconsin during the evening and overnight, with the greatest threat from 10 p.m. through 4 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61.

The Weather Service said quiet weather will follow after the system exits the region, with just a 20 percent chance for showers Monday night and Tuesday. Light southwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Friday night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 42.
