While Arsenal can look forward to an FA Cup final against Chelsea next month, City's unraveling season will now be defined by finishing in the top four of the Premier League.

The video, which was shot from a higher vantage point, can be seen in full below.

Losing the Spaniard in such a pivotal match is bad enough as it is, but if the knock is serious, Silva could also miss Thursday's derby against Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium.

In fact, the benefits of Wenger's tactical switch were perfectly encapsulated by his team's 72nd-minute equaliser as one wing-back, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, crossed superbly for the other as Monreal capped a fine individual display with his first goal since scoring in the FA Cup quarter-final at Manchester United in March 2015.

ARSENE WENGER hailed his "animal" Cup hero Alexis Sanchez and insisted he WILL be at Arsenal next season.

City came close to striking first when the diminutive David Silva rose to meet Aguero's cross with a header that Petr Cech pushed over.

The influential Oxlade-Chamberlain delivered a cross from the right which found the opposite wing-back Monreal racing in at the back post and he stabbed in a right-footed volley from six yards.

62' - GOAL! Arsenal 0-1 Man City (Aguero).

Referee's assistant Steve Child judged that Sane's cross had gone behind before Aguero turned it back at the far post and then Sterling made sure.

Yaya Toure intercepted and quickly chipped the ball over the Arsenal defense to Sergio Aguero. Normally the big players have two, three years [on a] contract.

City nearly hit back immediately, with Toure's 25-yard volley pushed onto a post by Cech before Fernandinho headed against the crossbar from Kevin de Bruyne's corner.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola expects a number of clubs to be monitoring Alexis Sanchez's contract situation at Arsenal, while adding the attacker is just one step below Barcelona's Lionel Messi.

This game will be another step in Pep Guardiola's attempt at a Wembley treble, as the 46-year-old Man City manager has a flawless record at the historic British stadium.

The Belgium striker returned to Anfield and scored twice for Palace, the equalizer to cancel out Philippe Coutinho's free kick and then a close-range victor from a 74th-minute corner. He had problems to start and became stronger and stronger.

Both clubs have failed to meet expectations in the league and in Europe and hope to salvage something of their campaign by making it to the historic and prestigious FA Cup final.
