Jose Mourinho: 'Anything can happen in Premier League'

Elbert EdwardsMay 09, 2017

Mourinho said: "I think he did an awesome job and I think Alexis Sanchez knows his name because the kid played very well". "I left Highbury and they were crying, I left The Emirates and they were crying".

He said: "The Arsenal fans are happy and I'm happy for them". They were walking the streets with their heads low. Today they had their scarves out and they were singing. "It's nice for them". Honestly. It's a big club. I am not enjoying that.

Going into the game, Mourinho had never lost a game to Arsene Wenger, but that changed today. He is a big manager. "Normal is win, lose, draw", Mourinho said.

"Today, no problem (with the scoreline)", he said, according Foottheball.

He then took a further step which was clearly a dig on Wenger that he does not enjoy seeing the north Londoners fail to win big trophies. Wenger admitted that the plan was to try and absorb the pressure in the first half.

Arsenal's next match sees them travels to St. Mary's, to face a robust Southampton side. We still have a chance [of the top four] and we need some help from teams around us.

United remain four points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester City with three matches remaining, including a trip to second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

The Portuguese made it clear he would be resting a number of players on Sunday afternoon, with the club heading into a Europa League semi-final second leg on Thursday.

However Coach of the loosing side Man United, Jose Mourinho, claims to be happy for the winning club.

"I don't think so, for two reasons. I don't think we have any chance of finishing top four", he added. And, because we go with everything on Thursday [against Celta Vigo], we can not go with everything at Tottenham.

"When you go with everything against Tottenham, it's hard". Without everything, it's more hard. Find us on Facebook too!

Juan Mata still feels Manchester United can finish in the Premier League's top four.

Speaking to MUTV after the game, Tuanzebe said, "thanks to the manager because he gave me the opportunity" to finally experience playing the Premier League but "we didn't get the win, which is a disappointment" as it ends the team's long unbeaten run.
